The request to meet Imran Khan in jail, at the Lahore High Court was rejected on the basis of withdrawing the request as inadmissible. According to the details, a hearing was held on the request of the lawyer to meet Chairman PTI Imran Khan in jail, Chief Justice Lahore High Court heard the request of Salman Safdar Advocate.
The court remarked that Imran Khan is in the custody of FIA Islamabad, Chief Justice Lahore High Court declared that the matter falls under the jurisdiction of Islamabad High Court, how can the court interfere in the matter of the High Court? It is better to approach the Islamabad High Court. The Registrar Office Lahore High Court also raised an objection to the admissibility of the petition and directed the petitioner to refer to Islamabad.
It should be remembered that Chairman PTI Imran Khan is in Attock jail on a 14-day judicial remand in the cypher case. While the cypher case against Chairman PTI Imran Khan was heard in Attock Jail yesterday, Judge Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain of the Special Court set up under the Official Secrets Act heard the case. Imran Khan was presented in front of the court and attended, Chairman PTI's legal team was also present in Attock Jail.
The court had extended Imran Khan's judicial remand for 14 days after taking attendance. After the hearing, Judge Abu Al-Hasanat Zul-Qarnain went to Islamabad from Attock Jail. It should also be noted here that the Islamabad High Court had suspended the sentence of Chairman PTI Imran Khan in the Tosha Khana case, however, Imran Khan was arrested in the cypher case.
